I hear your voice say “there are so few like me, I feel so alone.”
I am not scared to stand alone. For I know this life long path and I know we are one.
To be as we are, unique
unafraid and unashamed,
Harken brother and sister,
to the truth we are one.
So stand strong speaking truth warriors of the light, live strong to your values and dreams, even among people who live lives of lies.
Let them know what you know, about what is the true cause of their pain, the true source of their endless self judgment at the pain of fat thighs.
Because maybe, just maybe it is your voice, speaking from love and compassion, while striking straight to the core, (of their desires squashed and tears of quenched fires) that wakes them up to a life that is MORE.
It is a courageous path beloved, to stand alone among the many who weep secretly into the endless folds of Netflix, hiding from the truth of the passion of their dreams and the impossibility of sleep without alcohol, ice cream and guilty bingeing on “things”
Say to yourself out loud right now. “I will never again dim this light to fit in. Not now, not in the future, Never again. Not only that but I forgive myself for those years of fear, I did not know better, and I am greatful as they got me to this moment right here.”
I will not silence this voice to keep them comfortable in their skins.
For their skins already crawl with the guilt of our times, with binge eaten bread and mindless repetition of daily lines, in subservient reverence to corporate greed. Crawling with their helplessness to stop the binge amazon shop, while acres of jungles are cleared to feed the insatiable appetites and the prices of market stocks.
Yet these are the times of a peaceful revolution, enough blood has been shed.
To find healing for all we must first find it within, for then it unfolds without, far beyond our reasonable expectations and doubts.
As warriors of the light we must rise every day, bring out the best in ourselves and say “you know what, you said you wanted to watch your weight, and so I’m going to call you out on the fact that you decided to buy icecream again today, but actually let’s go make a smoothie instead, because that icecream has gotten to your head more times than you’d like to admit (it’s not your fault your addicted to a culture of sin, or the opioids you get from dairy and sugar that cover the pain of being improperly weaned) and I’m going to, for just today, be the kind of person I dreamed I could be, instead.”
For before we can lecture and rage, we must walk our talk, and if we all f@&? did that every day, the “they” would disappear and we would have to face what we fear. That our unconscious coping with the mess that is our lives (you are forgiven right now) is what keeps us dull, forgetful and woeful of our fat thighs.
You have the power to change, right now in fact. You must nurture the will to stay clear. You are protected, wanted, loved and sincere.
So let your actions match your words, let your wisdom cut through the illusion
Let your walk match your talk.
As mothers and fathers and aunts and uncles and sisters and brothers we create the next generations, so let us stand together, finally as one.
Let us heal our wounds, our guilt and our shame.
Let us love and raise our children as we wished we were raised. And when we have succeeded, when we are done, let us sing a great joyous song, and let the children be raised on our joyful arms in celebration of how we as a generation stood up and said “NO!!! no more will we tolerate what you have done, we are stopping the rape of the earth right now, and we hold sweet in our hearts our minds and our dreams the sacred green future of our family as one.
We are one, all humanity.
It’s time we acted it.
By loving each and every one.
Starting with ourselves.
So what will you do today,
What new decision will you make
to love the one?
